A Timeless Wedding at Domaine du Château de Mairy

This past weekend, I had the incredible honor of photographing a destination wedding at the stunning Domaine du Château de Mairy in Mairy-sur-Marne, France. Nestled amidst rolling hills and lush greenery, the château offered the perfect backdrop for Mylinda & Matthew’s elegant and heartfelt celebration.
1. The Setting :- From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the natural beauty of the grounds. The château, with its historic charm, is surrounded by picturesque gardens and serene countryside views. As the soft golden sunlight filtered through the trees, the atmosphere became almost ethereal—ideal for capturing intimate, romantic moments.
2. The Celebration:- Mylinda & Matthew’s day was filled with emotion, laughter, and love. Every detail reflected timeless elegance, but what truly stood out were the people. From the heartfelt vows and moving speeches to the joyful tears and bursts of laughter, every frame told a story of connection. One of my favorite memories was immediately after the ceremony. The couple slipped away into the château gardens for a quiet moment, just the two of them. Newly married, they shared a few breaths of stillness before celebrating with friends and family—a moment that felt as genuine as it was beautiful.
3. Beyond the Wedding:- To make the most of the surroundings, we ventured to nearby Vertus and its grape fields at sunrise the following morning. The soft morning light, paired with the sweeping vineyards, created the most breathtaking setting for post-wedding portraits—an unforgettable way to end a weekend full of love and celebration.
